Any authenticated HTTP request made to the airwellax API endpoints counts as a single API call. This includes payment initiations, status checks, webhook verifications, currency conversion queries, and account balance lookups. Requests that return a 4xx error due to malformed input still count toward your usage. Internal health-check pings to /ping do not count.

Yes. You can generate new API keys, rotate existing ones, or revoke them instantly from your developer dashboard under Settings → API Keys. Key revocation takes effect within seconds across all regions. We recommend rotating keys on a regular schedule and immediately revoking any key you suspect has been compromised. There is no limit on how many times you can rotate keys.

Yes. The Growth plan includes a 14-day free trial with no credit card required at sign-up. During the trial you get full access to all Growth-tier features including multi-currency support, webhook delivery, and priority support. At the end of the trial you can choose to subscribe or downgrade to Starter. No charges are made automatically without your explicit confirmation.

FX conversion fees are applied on top of the mid-market exchange rate at the time of the transaction. The fee percentage depends on your plan: Starter charges 1.2{dc756b460e2a41da9d99c8afd73b34c499d5773f6ae7bc82fbe7500785542e0b}, Growth charges 0.8{dc756b460e2a41da9d99c8afd73b34c499d5773f6ae7bc82fbe7500785542e0b}, and Enterprise rates are negotiated per contract. The fee is deducted from the converted amount and clearly itemised in your transaction receipt and monthly invoice. No additional hidden spreads are applied.

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), ACH bank transfers for US-based customers, SEPA direct debit for EU customers, and wire transfer for annual Enterprise contracts. All billing is handled securely through our payment processor. Invoices are available for download from the Billing section of your dashboard immediately after each charge.

If you exceed your monthly API call limit, additional requests are billed at the overage rate defined in your plan rather than being blocked. Starter overages are charged at $0.0012 per call, Growth at $0.0008 per call. You will receive an email alert at 80{dc756b460e2a41da9d99c8afd73b34c499d5773f6ae7bc82fbe7500785542e0b} and 100{dc756b460e2a41da9d99c8afd73b34c499d5773f6ae7bc82fbe7500785542e0b} of your limit. You can set a hard cap in your dashboard to stop requests once the limit is reached if you prefer not to incur overage charges.
